Beauty Hacks with Coconut Oil

Full Body Moisturizer: As the weather is getting colder, your skin is getting dryer. Instead of using high-end moisturizers and body lotions, opt for all-natural, organic coconut oil. Coconut oil is known for its anti-microbial and anti-aging properties. It works for young and sensitive skin as well as older and mature skin. Best recommended to use at bedtime as a nighttime facial moisturizer or full-body moisturizer. It can also be used all over the body as a conditioner before taking a shower.

Makeup Remover: Have you ever struggled to take off that water-proof makeup?! Try using coconut oil to remove harsh makeup by simply taking a dime-sized amount of oil on a cotton ball or your hands and massage it on to your face. Then, wash off with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser. Your skin feel very clean and hydrated. Don’t forget to use a moisturizer after!

Shaving: Ever ran out shaving cream? Or just want to do a quick shave without getting razor burns? Coconut oil comes to the rescue! Just massage on a sufficient amount of coconut oil to condition your desired area, shave as normal and wipe off excess to reveal smooth and shiny skin!

Cuticle oil: Just apply a small amount of oil every night on to your cuticles to keep them hydrated. Doesn’t get as easy as this!

Hair Mask: Suffer breakage or heat-damage? Want strong, healthy and shiny hair? Coconut oil is the answer to your problems! You can use it two ways: hair mask or leave-in conditioner. To use as a hair mask, apply and massage a generous amount of coconut oil on to your scalp and hair. Massage your scalp to promote blood flow to stimulate hair growth, and leave on as long as you can. We recommend leaving it on for couple of hours for best results, and then wash hair as usual. Your hair will feel very smooth, soft and shiny! To use as a leave-in conditioner, just take a small amount of coconut oil and apply to your ends for a quick hair intervention!
